About
What is
Xeriscaping?
•Xeriscaping is a form of gardening that uses drought tolerant plants and grasses to beautify a home or business.
•The root word Xeros is from the Greek language and means dry.
•Xeros was combined with the term landscape which means to modify land.
There is no such thing as a "no-water" or a "no-maintenance" landscape. All plants will need some water, especially when they are first planted. Their root systems will need some watering to get established.
Not everything in nature is always neat and tidy so if you want everything to look a certain way, some cleaning and trimming will have to be done from time to time.
